Sri Lanka: Tamil Tigers release the air base attack video

COLOMBO - one month after their stunning attack on the Anuradhapura airbase on October 22 and destroyed or damaged over 26 aircrafts, the Tamil Tigers release a video clip of the Attack.

Mr. Velupilliai Pirapharan, the leader of the Tamil Tigers, later conferred Awards of Valour for Tiger cadres who excelled in their performance in the Anuradhapura operation against the Sri Lankan airbase.

Four categories of awards, instituted for the first time, were bestowed on that occasion that took place in a secret venue organized in Vanni in the presence of Tiger military commanders and cadres.

However at that time they declined to clarify whether these cadres involved in Anuradhapura operation on that fateful day and returned back safely, as suggested by some reports. But according to the released video clip, there were more than one person accompanied the commandos to their destination and stayed in side the air force base and left the place as the attack intensified inside the base and return to their bases in Vanni safely.
