Chennai - Selvam Adaikalanathan, Tamil National Alliance MP for Vanni, Sri Lanka on Thursday condemned the recent terror attacks in Mumbai by apparently unknown Islamist militant on innocent civilians including many foreigners. The attacks claimed at least 146 lives so far and 341 injured while unknown number of hostages were taken by the attackers.
Tamil National MP reflects the general mode of shock and horror of the people of Tamil Eelam on the Civilians Massacres in India and we know the feeling of the victims of this horror as we are living witness of terrorism perpetrated against us by the state, another TNA MP told TNS.
The Indian authority believes that, heavily armed Islamist militants apparently entered the Mumbai city via sea and mounted a series of coordinated attacks late Wednesday at a landmark of Indian freedom including Mumbai hotels, hospitals, a Jewish Center, a restaurant, a rail station and many other places. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, strongly condemning the terror attacks in Mumbai, blamed that elements based outside India were behind the attacks.
Selvam Adaikalanathan, Tamil National Alliance MP said, that no one can accept the crimes committed against innocent civilians in a despicable manner.
The Indian army commandos battled the heavily armed militants at the luxury Taj Mahal hotel Friday and fired grenades at that hotel while other forces ended a siege at another five-star hotel.
